What is bibulous?

Bibulous is a mobile app for cocktail snobs (like myself) to find new recipes for cocktails that users can make with what they already have on hand.

I built this because it was something that I needed myself and I couldn't find a good alternative. There are like-minded apps, but then that had distinctions between types of sherry or production methods of rum.

My involvement

Bibulous is my brain-child. I executed everything, including front-end development, back-end development, and ui/ux design. The app is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App store. I've also provided continued updates in the two-ish years it's been publicly available, with still more planned for the near future.

I am particularly proud of the filtering capabilites, which is something that has always frustrated me with other apps. I implemented the ability for users to be incredibly specific about what they are in the mood for. That might be searching for a recipe they can already make that includes a specific ingredient like 'lemon juice' but doesn't include 'whiskey'.
